| San Anselmo Real Estate: Prime Property as a New Home |
| The home buying process can be overwhelming. Deciding where to buy, when to buy, and with what program can be confusing. However, demystifying the real estate process is easier if you are working with a trusted realtor and if you have all of the information about the areas you’re interested in. Knowing the history of a prospective location can provide the buyer with more than just a good story. Often the history of a town sets the pace of the present day environment. For example, in Salem Massachusetts one cannot ignore the folklore of the Salem witch trials which occurred over 300 years earlier. To this day they still have witch trial related events. Another example is Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The people of Oahu still commemorate the attack on their little island which occurred nearly a century ago. There are several tours and showcases to honor those who had perished during a sad and colossal assault. Some town’s history is filled with folklore and has left behind architectural specimens from another time that continues to paint the picture for present day communities. One such place lies in San Anselmo real estate in California.
San Anselmo real estate is a good example of such tradition with its majestic hundred year old castle overlooking the town. The castle’s chapel tolls a bell on the hour giving the town a time-honored sense of unity. In addition, the town has many older classic homes and remodeled homes alike. Since some of the communities are older they are often larger lots with bigger homes. The town began attracting more attention in the late 1800’s when the North Pacific Railroad completed a location that served as the connecting point from Sausalito to Tomales. Today the beautiful landscape continues to offer a breath-taking view of rolling hills and open spaces.
Another little California area that offers a bit of traditional culture and legend is the property within the Mill Valley real estate. Mill Valley is located just below Mt. Tamalpais and was also initially regarded as a railroad town but was primarily used as a ranchero. The land was used for its lumber and dairy farming. Like San Anselmo real estate, the beautiful countryside fascinated visitors and resulted in a tight knit happy bay community. The town incorporated in the 1900’s and neighborhoods quickly formed. Now the town is known for its nostalgic and artsy atmosphere and has a packed calendar of events ranging from festivals to parades. The town continues to embrace the homey literary feel it has had for decades. Both bay areas are an ideal place for hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities as it has maintained its natural appeal.
The historical pictures portrayed in these comfortable California towns are those of safety and community. Although, they are now filled with amazing restaurants, boutiques, and art, they are accompanied by the same amazing beaches and beautiful mountain views. Few communities offer the kind of hometown feel found in Mill Valley real estate and San Anselmo real estate. This may be why they are rated as some of the best places to live by highly regarded publications. In addition to the consistently perfect temperatures, anyone who visits these sleepy little towns will immediately sync into the culture and ambiance.
Knowing the spirit behind a town gives the buyer a better sense about the place they want to be a part of. Anywhere property is sold there is also a historical record which documents how the town once was. The key is finding places like San Anselmo real estate that have a past that appeal to the person purchasing the home that carries on within it. |
