Ooh La La Couture is a Red Carpet Favorite
Ooh La La Couture is a leading designer of fashionable, couture clothing for girls, from infants to teens, that has been showing up in Hollywood with increasing frequency. The company, founded in 2004, has become a favorite of young stars like Noah Cyrus and Keana Texeira who have difficulty finding dressy clothing that's edgy enough for the limelight but still appropriate for younger girls. Ooh La La specializes in clothing that takes a nod from the latest trends without pushing the envelope by being risqué or inappropriate for young girls.

Noah Cyrus has worn dresses by Ooh La La Couture while on tour with Miley's Wonder World and at the Totally Texty Teens Choice Awards 2009. Other up and coming celebs that have fallen in love with Ooh La La include Emily Grace Reaves and Heidi Klum's daughter Leni.

This year, Oh La La Couture introduced their Emily Grace Reaves Collection, named after the young actress who stars on “Noie and Ems Show,” currently on tour with Miley Cyrus and MileyWorld.com. Each piece in the collection features an embellished star to raise awareness for several charities under the auspices of the Lollipops and Rainbows Foundation. Emily Grace actually collaborated with the designers at Ooh La La to create the line, which focuses on stylish, dressy outfits that can be dressed up or down with stockings, leggings, or a funky pair of shoes.

Touches that make Ooh La La Couture special include genuine Swarovsky crystals, animal prints, lots of tulle and layers, and unexpected trims and embellishments. The foundation for each dress in the collection is a soft jersey knit, so each dress is comfortable and easy to move in.

The founders of the Ooh La La collection are two young moms who loved to play dress up themselves as children. With daughters of their own, they realized there was a definite need for cutting edge boutique clothing for young girls that wouldn't be inappropriate, was easy to care for, and would let girls feel fashionable without wearing clothing above their age.

The two designers put their heads together and came up with a collection of dresses that often feature their signature tulle mini skirt. This skirt resembles the flouncy crinolines of the past, only interpreted in bold colors and ruffled layers that make them the perfect, fun skirt for every day.

In keeping with the times, Ooh La La makes its presence known to teens and tweens by using the formats most familiar to them. There is an Ooh La La Couture FaceBook page, and you can check out their Twitter updates to find out what's new in their collection, where the latest Hollywood spotting of Ooh La La took place, and what fans of the clothing line should be looking for next. The company's website also has a page dedicated to photos of Hollywood sightings of young stars wearing Ooh La La dresses that are sure to make starry-eyed tweens beg for their own couture dress.

The versatility and reasonable price of Ooh La La Couture fashions mean you can buy new looks for your favorite girly-girl every year without breaking the bank. Accessories like headbands, tights and hair pours are available to complete each look and turn your young girl into a rock star in her own home.
